The transfer process: Easier than you think!
Initial Contact: Reach out to us via phone, email, or our website. We will arrange a confidential chat to discuss your current situation. Foster carers have a right to transfer to any agency they wish, so we will be happy if you are considering Bright Fostering Agency and will offer you full support and guidance throughout the process. We follow the Fostering Network’s Transfer of protocol for the transfer of foster carers between agencies and local authorities. Once the transfer is complete, you will receive a full induction and be introduced to your dedicated supervising social worker.
What about the children currently in your care?
If you are currently caring for children, we will work closely with you, your current agency, and the local authority to ensure their needs remain the priority. In many cases, children can remain with you during and after the transfer.
